The Basement didnt exist the last time you made it to Cobo Hall.

    You won't be disappointed.

A few of us are driving out again for our yearly trip. Always had a good time. Lots of inspiration and ideas. Looking forward to another great event.

  5. They're still around just not as large or active as they use to be. Club meetings are at Gardner-Wescott's place.

1st time for me showing & have never been. I'm taking my 34 Plymouth - upstairs.

    Few trailer questions:

    Is the trailer parking secure?
How far from the Cobo center is the trailer parking?
Can you park the truck there too?

Does the people mover go in both directions? I'm staying at Courtyard by Marriott (great $100/night rate with Military discount)

    Thanks,
    AA6

When I trailered the '36 over, the trailer parking was in a lot about 3 blocks away, and was still there Sunday night! :D So, not to worry. This year, my trailer spot is even more secure...;)

Ha, I've got about 3 feet on level ground. I'll get the loader out and drag it out before the show. ( I hope )

  19. These pictures were taken today. This is why I haul the roadster from Thunder Bay Ont. to London Ont. in the fall when I'm going to show it at the Autorama. It's nice to be just over an hour away from Detroit at show time. Just going to be spectators this year...:(

There is really not that much snow around your trailer,it's mostly reflections from the mirror polish on the doors! :D

  23. Please beware anyone driving in that the potholes here in the Metro Detroit area are the worst I have seen in my 15 years here....and if the potholes don't get your attention, the frost heaves will-like driving on whoopty-doos.

Coming from the South on Northbound 75, what is the best route into Cobo?

John C Lodge Fwy 10 or West Fort Street 85?

What street or side of the Cobo center is the show vehicle entrance?

MHRA graciously changed my move in day from Wednesday to Thursday giving us another travel day.:D
