Hey, Nice work. I'm the yo yo over in the 30's section building a coupe out of a PU cab. I now feel i cheated by doing a simple flat skinned louvered trunk lid. Ray

Settles some of the arguement that you need to have the latest greatest new tool before attempting these projects. I might have to print a picture of the guy with the VW sheetmetal to remind myself. Thanks for sharing your work, inspiring indeed.

  8. Beater32 once built a 36 3W coupe out of a 36 mordoor sedan. He is indeed a very talented man, moreso because you would be suprised how few tools he uses. I'm priveliged to count him a friend.

not much progress. chassis is at my welders getting everything final welded. I am now selling my roadster body, trying to get a 32 coupe body instead. Rules are making this thing spiral out of financial control, and the coupe will help alleviate some of that $$$. I'll post some up when I get my chassis back, and get everything put back in it.

  14. Appreciate this thread greatly. I'm going to go out and try making a T coupe trunklid now. Thanks to you.
