Damn,, not sure whats going on, everytime I check out this site there is another model a build thread and/ or someone else just bought an A.. Never ever liked being left in the dust so just to keep up with you hot-rodders, I just had to buy one too LOL.. Not sure if I will live long enough to build it but had to cut down on spending all my money on beers somehow..
Yep, sure do appreciate the offer LOL,, actually a very solid body, a small amount of floor rust only, has a few dings including left side drip rail which may be a bitch to fix, A buddy brought it up from montana and then found a more complete project and I had a vacant spot in the back yard.. Actually looking forward to the build, have built a few cars over the years but never messed around with an A.. The parts gathering and dreaming process is almost as good as the finished project..
I didn't get the deuce rails, decided to go full fendered so passed on the rails. pics are from when buddy got it home.
Good Luck on the "A" build, and, as you said, locating parts is half the fun, but....enough with the negative comments on "living long enough", you got this..
Actually been thinking I should have a sedan body instead of the cpe myself..long story but have some ideas I,d like to try on a sedan,, we,ll see...lol
Oh no!!! not another Model A coupe! Ha Ha, just kidding. Always love looking at Model A's Good luck with it and I'll watch the progress Fryguy
You are assuming that there will be some progress...lol.. first I have to get this house reno finished because we just had to do the down sizing thing, then I want to freshen up the 40, been engine shopping, have new frt axle and parts to go in now, maybe will just pass it on to someone who will build it, can't see myself doing anything for a couple of years and could use the funds for a real nice 350hp 327ci...if you know what i mean...
Let me know, I may pick it up off you. I actually have a fresh 327 that needs to be put together. Brand new L79 Cam kit for it as well.
