This was the first thing I saw this past Sunday as we pulled into the swap meet in Wampsville, N.Y. It was driven up from Florida by an older gent who built it from a bunch of parts he collected over the years. Has a Columbia in it and he says he just leaves it in overdrive. Other than the trunk it was perfect, but I guess if you travel that far in a deuce roadster you need a little extra room. The driver was I would guess in his 60s and over 6' tall, don't imagine he stopped very often once he got in it.

My man Jim Heiser... He is one driving fool. Thats only one of his really cool "toys" that he drives everyday! Did you take a look at the inside floors? It's actually not as channeled as it appears. I LOVE that roadster!!!! Heres kind of a pic of it behind my old carr at the Billitproof show down in FL.
Saw a Deuce Coupe one time with similar vents installed in the cowl. I thought maybe they were a couple of top cowl vents but he said they came out of Mack truck. They pivoted both ways, wide open towards the front to really let a lot of air in or open toward the rear to just exhaust hot air out of the cabin. Way cool!...Don.
I resent the remark about "An older Gent" from Florida". That's not a "gent" that's Jim Heiser, a lifetime old car guy who drives and enjoys them. No need to call him older either, that's like the pot calling the kettle black on this forum.
Just met Jim this past weekend. He is very cool hotrod guy. Has bunch of really cool piece that he has built over the years. Rods and custom did a piece Abt him couple years ago. http://www.rodandcustommagazine.com/hotnews/1309_readers_rods_september/
