love the look of old 50s cars in white and thinking of painting my 51 deluxe white and been looking for ones that are painted white but having a hard time finding any. so if you have any 49-54 chevys that are white please share.thanks

White looks ok but needs a little contrast colour to give it a lift IMO. btw Haven't seen you round lately Fitzee, you been pretty busy? Are you back workin on your Fleetline?

 

you guys are funny.. Not at my fleetline now for awhile.. had to move my shop and just plain busy. tired of not having a driver so picked up a 51 deluxe that is a nice little driver but need to be cleaned up. its green and Im not a lover of green.. plan is to not go overboard with it and just keep the body stock. I liking white or should I say off white.the creams, plan is to maybe pin strip it a bit but not going crazy with colors..seen this car and it seems to be doing it for me..

 

Look no further than the moon glow 54 Chevy . The most famous white kustom

You want a cop car look .... Maybe white with pearl . Drop it by I will metal flake it for you .

Daaaamn that first pic is beautiful. Maybe cream with white pinstriping? Would be simple but a nice up-close treat.

 

Im thinking the cream with some lgreen stripping. interior is greens so reasone for that.

Moon Glow, The ultimate in 54 Chevy customs. In white no less.

 

Harley-Davidson has a beautiful satin white pearl finish available on their bikes this year. I love how that looks, might wanna check it out in person.

The first two show McPhail's Chevy which was white early on, and later sported purple flames. Pulled all these from carnut:

 

This color is awesome
White is nice but doesn't show chrome well.
Whitewalls also are slightly unnoticeable .

I would like this car to be suttle and simple. Its not chopped and dont want to get into that.I already have a fleetline for the wild stuff. for as long as I can remember a stock body car looks very smart lowered and in white. wants a classic clean look

 

Do a white with a green fade .

 

Not quite a chev but close enough? I like the white for a change too and it does bring out the chrome/stainless.

 

Yes I noticed that the chrome stands out.. the pontiac is sweet..

Honestly it's a personal preference and it's your car . You should do what ever you want . Ok maybe some pinstripes
