I cannot seem to find these rebuild kits for my 2 door 50 merc???? "1950 mercury anti-rattle door kit" Mercuryland seems to be closed down in Nebraska. Anybody know where to get these items?
You may have to buy straight ones and bend them to fit..its a pain in the ass.. esp the outer ones that go on the stainless that are stapled to the stainless. I used stainless saftey wire in place pf the staples.
I suggest contacting restoration specialties in windbar, pa. They will bend them for you. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Restoration Specialties is having problems with the fuzzies that go around the outside of the window and attach to the inner garnish mouldings. The chrome around the antirattle is coming off, maybe a die problem in manufacturing. Ask before you purchase, Im awaiting confirmation of a fix before I purchase.
