I have a soft spot for the 1960 since I actually got my drivers license in a 1960Fairlane 500 2dr sedan with a 223 ohv in-line 6 and a 2 speed ford -o-matic, the first car that i ever neutral dropped  the only way that pig could even chirp a tire:eek:
hard to believe but it was even SLOWER THAN MY 170 cid 2 speed auto 4 door sedan falcon

The early 360 HP 352s had problems. By the time Ford figured out it was valve float & put in stiffer springs the engines rep was ruined.

I think the starliners are really unappreciated compared to other bubble tops. Also it seems all the hipo motors that were in them are gone such as is the case with my 61.

Hey Fred, do you still have the car? Some guy has called me 3 times, telling me he owns your car now and he wants to come by and pick up the parts I sold you. I've tried messaging you but haven't heard back. Let me know.

I think the answer about "vs,60 Impala" was about right if you looked at it in a Mirrow

  7. $$$$$? you gotta check your values. Only the 60 Impala convertibles historically outshine the 60 Starliners and Sunliners.
