The guy on the right said that it was 1/4 scale, and a sedan model went for over $30,000. He said that the coupe might go for around $40k.
....if I recall, the Hudson was a paint 'buck' for the designers to test out various paint combinations before production. I think the 1/4 scale reference was for the coupe....
I saw that on the show last night - across a loud bar. Wondered what they were saying about it. It and another huge model like that are featured in a toy book I have at home. JH
I have personally seen the '32 Hudson sedan and '32 Essex coach that were done like this at the factory. Years ago. They even have detailed interiors! Yes, BIG BUCKS.
