Not sure if anyone has seen the story (I know I don't have much time to look elsewhere than this thread here on the HAMB) but I noticed that Pat Garlits died on Sunday 2/2/14.
I was lucky enough to visit their museum just before Xmas - a great experience.
Our prayers go out to Don, Pat and their family.

The 'Doc' that had the red 35' roadster was a little before my time, though I think I remember it (Chrome wire wheels, with rear mounted spare?)
My old car was a red Ford 38' Club Coupe with the full grille chromed. Its in my fathers care now, didn't seem right him not having a Hot Rod.
Don't worry, no offence at all!

    Doc. (The 'newer' model ;))

These are from 1958. I found them in an old photo album my parents had. More than likely from Nor Cal as my Dad was at Hamilton AFB. north of San Rafael. Cool shots of at least one rail and a coupe?

I have seen a few miscatagorized or mislabeled pictures here and so what still a beautiful pic, and I may be wrong so rather than open my mouth and call someone out on what I may consider a major error I would PM them for clarification so that my stupidity could be kept between just us and not publicized if I was wrong and if right then they could easily post a correction and all would be well..
All just my opinion and we all know what that's worth so yeah back to the pics!!
