Good golly Miss Molly, that is a sweet lil Ford. After the GNRS and seeing Royal shifters ladies rig I have whole new love for these dandies. Best o luck, the mill/tranny combo should be just right for cruzin in style. Congrats bro! ~sololobo~

Neat dude! looks like fun maybe just flip a rear leaf for a few more inches if you take one out it might end up to bouncy , oh and make sure the rear shackle is flipped inside the hanger , enjoy

As I recall, the mirrors were an option. My mother bought a new 49 and it had mirrors that attached to the edge of the doors. I seem to remember they had to order it and she was mad at how long it took to get it.

There the original hubs. I just separated the hub from the drum with an air hammer. I had to slightly grind the inside of the drum so it would slide on and off freely, then I pressed the studs back into the hub, now it slides right on and i can take it off without removing the bearings!

Rear sump out of a truck would fit the best, but I have heard of guys using the dual sumps from stangs too.

Thanks! I am sticking with the 302 and AOD, more reliable and easier to get on the road.

Cool thanks, Don't mean to be a stalker, but I work for a utility company that has been doing work in Olivehurst and I ran by your truck at a house with a bunch of other cool stuff, probably your house. Looks like you have a lot of cool projects!

Got the intake in the other day and decided to shoot it with some high temp clear to seal it up. We will see how it holds up

Finished up the temporary stance, at least until the wife lets me open up the pocket book!! cut coils up front and removed leafs and a 2" block in back. Lets see how long I can take it until i pony up for the fat man front and Gambino's rear!!!

Looks like a good start, why not trim it like a 49 and fake a few people out.

I was thinking about doing that or shaving the trim all together in favor of some custom trim off a buick or something else down the line.

Scored a new front suspension for the old girl. 1985 S-10 front suspension with new drop shocks and new Beltech drop spindles, Got it off Craigslist for $100. I know everyone has a different opinion on clipping a shoebox or not, but this was too good of a deal to pass up! Now just gotta cut her up!!
