That is a very cool find and a great score for the price.

Just so you know, the value of something can only be established 2 ways - how much you will take for it ( value to you)
    - how much someone will pay for it (value to everyone else)

Let's see a pic of it on that 331 (would be good way to tell which engine it's for too)
    Enjoy!

Wow. And to think I wasted time on Speedtalk today, when I could have been here, reading gems like this...

Didn't notice you were in N.Z., but the poster is in Washington State where 2,500 would get you a 392 but Dodge & DeSotos are less than a grand.

A lot of people are confused by the section in the Tex Smith book that says a properly designed intake can be cast that could be given a final finish to fit a high deck Dodge or a low deck Desoto, but it can't be finished to fit both.

Please tell us you're not gonna waste this very cool intake manifold on the (off topic for the HAMB) car in your profile :

PS: The company's name is "HOLLEY" (not "HOLLY") ... and the abbreviation for the word "advertisement" is "ad" (not "add"). :D

Bernie has the original mold for the "Milk truck" and writes complex "tech" articles for rat rod magazine :D

So what should we really expect ? :D

well for those that are really concerned this manifold will be used on a baby hemi but that motor will be built and put into a frame that will have a DAN WOODS C CAB ON IT.

  18. Sounds like a good plan! ... Congrats on your find!

Great find and I look forward to seeing your C cab as it comes together. Just an FYI, no insult intended, but when you see a post with a smiley face at the end of it, it means that the person posting is just joking with you. Kidding around doesn't always come across properly on the internet.
What started as a great post went downhill fast when you misinterpreted the intent of some of the responses. Please keep posting and take things a little lighter. I read your profile and your welding background would be a great asset around here.

Again, I'm not trying to be a smartass, just offering a few tips on posting on the HAMB, not that I'm any expert.

I wasn't joking, my big grin faces were more like a laugh. If you know anything of Bernie's history here then you would get it totally.
