  3. I'm lovin it, it doesn't get much cooler than that!!!

  4. Pete: That is a '33 body and quite possibly a cabriolet (like mine). I say that for two reasons. A: no hood rest notch on firewall/33 hood latch on lower cowl and the dash has NO hole for a windshield crankout mechanism. Checkout the pics of mine (a thread in my stats) they will give you hope!!!! Its a really cool looking car. Try lifting the upholstery off the back of the body to see if it has a top opening or a nasty cut from the coupster epidemic. Let me know if I can help you with anything. Tim.

Love it. Looks like you are thinking cycle fenders, cool. Love the welded/filled doors, that just screams fifties. X2 on the yellow, I dont know if you are planning to run with that, but it would look great. This is gonna be killer.

The best modification you could make to that great piece is flatten the top of the windshield by getting another frame and lengthening the straight part of the top frame and 45 cutting the vertical sides and welding them together.

yes I plan on running cycle fenders it looks great

I was looking under the upholstery and it looks like it was just cut, im pretty certain its a 5w who ever built the car back in the day did some cool stuff the A pillers are made of solid round stock then shaped to fit the curve of the windshield ill try and post some better pictures
Yes planning on keeping the old yellow paint and running it like it is

Been at it pretty good this week Bob set me up with some cool chrome wishbones and spring I had to repair them and weld new ends on

Finished that up and started mocking up the front end that I will be using

Also Tonight I squared up the body to the frame and made mounts

So excited about seeing this car on the road. You guys really seen the potential. I know it sat in Skeeter's shop with most people thinking "what a pile" but I knew you dudes would treat it right!!! Amazing what the right wheels, tires and stance will do to a car!
