Thats cool. Usually someone buys a house without a garage and complains the rest of his life about it.

    Thanks,
It was all done by my 2 friends, Dan King, Jim Mackey, and myself.
It RULES to have a big shop before winter.

Cool shop. I'm trying to buy an old firestation that is a block from my house. If I get it, I'm gonna turn it into my little rascals "he man woman haters club". In the mean time. I'm seriously jealous of your new digs.

    Very Nice, Jim.

I too bought a new house without a shop, after having one for 15 years.

I hope to start my shop (not as big as yours) but still, in about one month...Permits, you know...

Anyway, good for you, maybe I can scoot by this spring on the murdercycle and check it out.

That's a kick ass shop! I'd give my left nut for something like that!

  18. Mill? English wheel? I'm moving in next door. Hope you don't mind neighbors who park a lot of old, well rusted cars on flat tires in their front yards. And test motors at 3 am with no mufflers.

Very nice shop, and just in time for winter. After having a good work area for just a short time it spoils you. I went from a 24 X 36 into a 40 X80 with a second story. It's too small.:D Can you spell SPOILED? :D

Im so jelous!!!! I just moved out of a 1bedroom apartment and bought my first house with a detached a 1 car garage (its an old 1 car garage so it can fit well more than a civic!)

im in the process of redoing the whole thing, it was basically a slab and some wood, i reinforced all the framing, re did all the electrical, built a little storage loft, and insulated and sheetrocked it.

just a little more mudding and sanding and i cant paint!!

im just got in and i was stoked, feeling damn proud of my self....until i saw your post....geeez!

Is that a '32 that I see in your loft? Or are you just happy to see me? I zoomed in on that grill all the way to the right of the inside picture. What is that thing, looks cool. Sweet Impala! Good job on the shop. PS. I would give my roll-away for those headlights that you got hangin up there.

That old sign was layin @ the ranch for ever. All I did was ask, and they were more than happy to let me take it home. In my opinion, its a piece of NW hotrod history, I am stoked.

Nice space. I'm in the middle of a 38x40 with 12 foot walls. Winter is catching up with me and I've just started with the roof sheathing, so with any luck I can get a roof on it and get it wrapped up before any serious snow falls.

It's funny how 2' on the wall makes your building look so much bigger than mine. What are you doing for heat?
