    Ford, Fordson or Thames E83W.

I think here in the UK they are a Thames, may have been called something else in other territories.

Google E83W in Images, should throw up some more pics.

Thanks Mart. "You are correct, sir!"

Had not seen that one over here before but it's mighty cute. Especially for a Furd.

  9. They must've thought it had a slide-out

I'm guessing maybe it happened as result of a tornado?

This last picture with all the '57 Chevys got me to thinking. Somewhere someone must have traded in an old '32 Ford for a new Rambler.

5th Infantry Division rolled into Albion, Indiana on August 25, 1941. The narrative goes on to say that this Division landed at Utah Beach on D-Day.

Gulf Mobile and Northern Railroad's Rebel locomotive power in New Albany, Mississippi. The caption says 1930's and these particular locomotives were bought in 1935. The railroad was merged in 1940, so that should be close to correct.

Sure looks like it. I'll be in the area tomorrow. If I think about it I'll try to go by and take a picture from the same spot.

Yes, that appears to be a '40 Chev so maybe sometime from Fall of '39 until the RR merged. Thanks for the photo, I was unaware of these locomotives and at first glance thought it might be one of the articulated Zephyrs, but I see that it is not. Quite interesting.
