Any rememebr the 37-38 blue Willys coupe that raced at Lebanon Valley and New England Dragway in the '60's? I heard it was maybe from the Fitchburg area or out that way.

Try looking for old dragstrip pictures from those tracks or maybe 60s drag race videos from those tracks on you tube.

l couldn't find anything in Don Montgomery's Gasser reference book; "Supercharged Gas Coupes and Sedans".

Are you sure it wasn't named "Fantasia"?

It wasn't Fantasia. It even had the original 37/38 nose.

There is a pic of Ambrosia on this site. I saw it but will have to find it again. It's in a group.

Here is it from the post above. I remember it in like 1967-69 or so at Lebanon Valley. But not after a two year hitch in the USMC until 1971. Don't remember any specifics just watched it run.

Hey Loudbang, after I got out of P.I. and went to Camp Geiger, went into the PX, bought a hot rod/drag racing magazine. Couldn't wait anymore, lol! In think you'd appreciate that feeling, lol!

Ed Henley’s 37 B/G Willys “Ambrosia” was outa Lawrence, MA with “Plymouth” script on the hood.....

Ed owned and operated “Henley and Sons Automotive,” at the corner of Pleasant and Howe Streets in Methuen, MA,
Believe Ed sold the Willys to Robert “Butch” Biron outa Southern NH and he let it go in the mid 70’s trail goes cold……. 26105F28-4281-449F-91C6-C6250C9A0E48.jpeg

Kind of a long shot but there is a 37-38 Coupe that shows up at the Radir event called Deadman’s Curve in NJ. It doesn’t look like that but there aren’t many around. I wonder if this one could be it?
