I want to use rubber floor for my 31 PU project instead of carpet. Who are you using? Does not have to be OEM correct but something that looks good. I have looked around with no luck. thought about driving over to Spokane to borrow the mat out of the Woodward roadster..
Or start with an original...Brattons has them, and various other bits of tin and rubber that might hel set things up. http://www.brattons.com/prodtype.as...rPageHistory=&strKeywords=&strSearchCriteria=
Thanks Squirrel and Bruce for the link I just looked at the link, It looks like the factory stuff has holes for shifter, E brake and other stuff which I do not need and the aftermarket stuff is pretty thick. anyone else know where I might look
Check out the floor in the Woodward roadster. I seem to recall the guys were going to post more details on it, but if they did I must have missed it. Very fine work.
I used a truck bed floor mat from harbour freight in the model a. Made difference in sound. Also had insulation under it. Cut to fit. Just an idea. May not be vintage enough, but just an idea.
Dynamat makes a product called dynadeck which is about 3/8" thick with sound deadening , very nice product , nice pepple graining
Saw the Dynamat product installed in a 31 cab and it looked really good. Planning on it for my 36 PU.
In my '46 i used a rubber mat from Farm Supply. Anti fatigue mat for livestock. Has ribs on one side and looks great.
I used a rubber mat from either Bratton's or Mac's. Unsure which. It is a fit all mat in the orginal pattern for Model A's.
Bratton's, and also the V8 suppliers, have a considerable selection of rubber boots and tinware that can be used to detail pedals, shifter, and brake lever.
They sell various patterns in bulk and are an Alliance vender. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I have a pickup truck bed mat I'm planning to cut for a floor mat in my '26, it's just plain black rubber with ribs in it.
