Here are some photos from the NDRL race at Gateway last weekend. Sorry that there aren't more but I was only there Friday and these are a couple of my customer's cars that were running there. Gateway 5.jpg Gateway 8.jpg Gateway 6.jpg

    Hey gang,

Just got back from a great time in Bowling Green. I'm glad I got to meet up with some of you and sorry I didn't get to catch up with everyone. I was with my old high school buddy Bob Gibson (above) who came with the Jenkins T-Bar Cortines AA/FD car which Bob just finished reassembling and cackling for the first time on Saturday night. Between working on the car and watching the races, there just is never enough time to do everything and see everyone. Anyway, I did get some pictures and thought we get this thread lit again. I only have a half a dozen for the moment, but there will be more posted as I get time. Stay tuned

This first view is of Bob's car which was a strong runner in Div 4 back in the day. The happy owner is posing Friday morning while we waited for the rain to clear.

I had a great visit with Tim and the other Jr Stock guys on the circle. The rains slowed me down some on Friday, but I'd try and get out to shoot and visit whenever I could. Could have hung out all day, but had to get some lunch and a snow cone before heading back to help with the car. You know the drill. Anyway, glad to see you guys!

I got a (poor) shot of this car racing at the '65 Nationals at Indy. I think it was a different color then, but with the faded Ektachrome I have it's hard to tell for sure. A couple of cool rides here for sure.

Alright, now we're cooking! Grumpy's tribute Camero gets underway. Sam Yeater is in the maroon car. How many of Jenkins cars are still around-either original or tributes?

Here's the Traveler going off against Ron Bizio's pickup. What a great matchup but unfortunately the Traveler had a mishap in the traps and rolled a couple of time. I think everyone was OK but does anyone know what happened? More later.

I was standing right there and looking in that direction......the only thing I saw was a car that had slowed way down just go nuts......brakes maybe... didn't have the chute out, it was running straight and kinda slow and then all hell broke loose....weird, now the pittman car was loose as hell and just lost it...bad luck for some beautiful cars

I heard it was a brake caliper that seized in the shutdown that caused it to crash. Car will be fixed.
