This was my favorite Kustom that I saw pictures of from the GNRS. Any one knows the background
And who built this Kool Ride? It should have been in a 20 x 20 so we could get some kool pics. Hopefully
it will be featured in a magazine. Its proof not everything has been done.

Tom Davidson took this kool pic, Check out the headlight bezels, Very Kool

Don't know anything about it, but I love the cutouts in the fenders/doors. I wonder if this started out as a 4dht? The "tonneau cover" sure does look like a stretched trunk lid. Certainly has some non-Camino pieces used. Very pretty overall.

Thanx Mick...I sure wanted to see that '59 after I could see the "vents" on the lower fender in the Tom Davidson pic...figured there'd be a lot of work in that El Co...and can sure see it now...someone did some fine work...!!!

Lots of fine detail in that little truck and Tom's camera sure loved it.

Mick, I saw the car in person and it looked even better than the pics. It was way to nice of a car to be stuck back in a corner like it was!

Awesome car. Another reason why EVERY building is a must see at the GNRS.

  9. When I walked by it the first time, it looked a bit off. Then I started to read about the modifications. It was chopped 3" (I think) and uses hard-top doors. I took a few pics but I think they're almost the same as above.

Loved to have seen it in person. I think Bones took a profile pick and really shows off
the swoopy lines. Looking forward to seeing future pictures. Does anyone remember
where the headlight chrome rings are from? Happy Trails, Mick

Thanks JK, love seeing a profile pic. A lot of guys shot the '59 but it is always the same angle.
