Damn Kenneth! Your metalwork looks awesome!!!!! Do you have any process pictures for the headlight work you did? I want to do the same for mine with a '59 Imperial grill.

Did you have any concerms making the whole front end one piece? I have been pondering that part of it.

Can someone recommend a good wheel/tire size upgrade that will fill out the wheel wells better. Mine currently has 14x5" wheels with 225/75-14 on it and they are kind of dinky looking on such a big car.

Was thinking maybe a 15x7" with 225/74-15 to fill it out.

Anyone have pictures they can share with specs?

Kenneth, that car, man it's gonna rule.

  5. Excellent rear end treatment!

  6. Hi Badass!
Was thinking of that frontend back and forth how it would bee handeling such a big piece but decided the looks have to go first. It´s a bit tricky to attache it to the car now, have to slide it over but it works. If you go into my personal profile and click on the Impala album there´s some pic´s of how I made the bezels. I can take some more pics how I attached them and the headlights mounting if you want. Hade to cut into the radiatorplate and innerfenders to make acces for adjusting and mounting from backside.
´59 Imperial is a good looking grill on this cars. Good choice. Was thinking of one my self but they´re not an easy find over here.

Happy New Year to you all.

    Kenneth

I had two 60's never a 59. However I sat in a friend's 59 and was amazed at how low the seat "sat". Seemed that it was quite different seating wize despite having the same dash / interior.

Anyone ever blended a '59 with a '60? I love the '59 taillights and rear deck/trim, but prefer the droopy nose of the '60.

Does anyone have photos of the lowered rear end on one of these? Or build pics for lowering the rear..... I have a 59 for the family to cruise in and really want to lower the rear like I did the front. BUt it looks like the driveshaft will need tunneled? Please let me know if you can help me out. Any tips.[IMG][/IMG]

Does anyone know where to get Sanco venitian blinds? Repops, or even a DIY kit would be super helpful.

  25. ...here's a shot of my Biscayne back in the late 60's; all that white stuff is hail, not snow;...didn't hurt the car.

I can still play! The 63 wagon in the background is the daily. The 59 Impala is still a work in progress but hope to be driving it this spring.

  27. Kind of an offbeat question, but I may be using a '59 dash in my '56 Chevy pickup...

Could you post pics of aftermarket/non-stock gauges that you've used in your dashes?
