I'm looking into getting a wiring harness for my 39 Desoto coupe any suggestions on brand and how many circuit I will be running - headlights -brake lights -running lights -signal lights -power windows -elec fan -elec fuel pump -wipers I would like to keep it as inexpensive as possible not trying to be a cheap ass but I would like to keep it on the cheap but works decent. Thanks
We used Larry's fuse panel in my brother's 32. More than enough circuits and I liked the way it was labeled. http://www.larryselectricsite.com/storefront/viewitem.php?productid=104&cc=4992ea6d17f28c0a4aff0cf1dd5b36e0
Would the Larry's panel work with the wire in a Rebel kit? http://www.larryselectricsite.com/st...ff0cf1dd5b36e0
If you want cheap, Speedway has some cheaper than a lot of name brands. But I couldn't say if they are any good or not.
Hope that wasn't directed at me, anything that will burn your car to the ground is something that deserves the most respect, and top shelf components. Bob
Nope, not directed at you are even at Speedway. I just saw in their catalog that their wiring harnesses were more inexpensive than others that I have seen.
I put a speedway in the 54 over thanksgiving without a problem. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
American Auto Wire, makes some great harnesses. I have installed quite a few. I am not sure if they cover your application, but they may have something that will cover your needs.
Rebel 9+3 would be right up your alley. http://www.rebelwire.com/ Tell Bob the HAMB sent Ya! With the circuits you are adding read the section : "A current topic" here: http://www.watsons-streetworks.com/tips DO add the HD relay on the ignition switch, also with most headlights being Halogen the relays added there are a big plus so you get the brightness you want.
