Does Gommi's have the larger milk truck wheels on it?

I'm rooting for Wes - he is one of the finest men in our hobby. He always welcomed visitors to Grand Forks to drop by his toy shop to take a look at the car in process.

The car was desiged by Foose and largely built at Wes' shop by master metal shaper Doug Peterson and his team. The car took a road trip last year for finishing, including a stop at Rad Rides by Troy.

When is the last time a 4dr won? Good chance this year.

  4. One of those wheels/tire on the SOHC deuce would be worth more than my whole car

Looks like a lean year....... not a fan.

Just my 2c but i hope Paul Tregembo and the High School guys get it! Sits right and looks cool. Built in 5 months is a tall order!! Nothing mind blowing this year it seems. 35 Chevy will probably get it on being so rare.

I'd like the blue roadster in my garage. Simple, clean, cool. Don't believe it will win, but I'd take it in a heartbeat!!
Oh, the high school rpu is a "keeper", too.

I think the top on the #908 blue roadster is what it is, and not unlatched. Here's a shot from a different angle a couple week's ago.

Got to see the 35 Chevy at trepaniers shop when we were over last year. Car looked awesome in bare metal, workmanship was stunning. But my favorite would be the traditional dark blue 32. Seen it in the builders hall in Louisville. It has the look for me.

Agreed...............if I had to vote for one of them it would be #908, just stop by the dumpster and throw the top in on the way home.

  13. I love the '35 Phaeton... except for the wheel/tire choice.

Gommi's 32 phaeton is definitely my favorite.

The highschool shop class RPU is my second.

Baby blue 32 is my third.

it looks like there are pedestals about 1-2" tall blue things where the top meets the frame

protection or actually part of the windshield frame?

is that blue pearl metallic or just a flat shade of blue?

  16. I love this car - with no top and smaller headlights.

Did they take the top off number 908? I saw what looked like same car with top off in the Fri night pics from a fellow hamber.

Paul Gommi gets my vote. Not only is the car great, his hot rod philosophy as expressed on the informational showcards around the car are outstanding. I like what he's done. Here's the main card.

And here's his '32 Ford Phaeton in case you didn't see it in other posts.

Keep up the good work, Paul.

Current trends make me think 904 will win . I would like the look of 908 without a top .I know a family that has owned the same 32 roadster since 1959 and it has a top like that .I don't exactly like it but it was done that way by some "Back in the Day".It does give us something to talk about .

^^^^ My vote would be for #904 Just a nice clean and simple '32. Looks like a Hot Rod to me.

908 is a really cool car but I think the top and the tire choice hurt it.

917 May not be my personal favorite but it is a beautiful car and I could see it winning.

  26. Got to go with 916 it's got "the" look!! I like it because it's black and looks road ready.

  27. This looks like it at the Long Beach Model T Swap Meet in 2010.
