Projects Hilton's Hotrods & Ross Racing Engines build an "A" Updated

I love the black & whites! I have a whole set of pix of my build I've converted to grayscale in Photoshop because I love the look. I think I posted some of them in my build thread but I haven't been there for a while so I can't be sure.

 

Got to keep a little mystery until the final package is done

 

Finned aluminum valve covers are the hot rod staple....but the cool value of certain factory covers is legendary.

Oldsmobile Rocket, Chrysler Fire Power, Dodge Red Ram, THUNDERBIRD.

I'm sure there are more.....

 

You didnt polish the brake drums? Tisk Tisk

I work in aviation and things have to be perfect before they go out the door and that is TOP QUALITY work, kudos

May I ask what paint you used on the engine, I have the 455 out of my OT right now for a refresh. I know it's not the correct colour for mine but..........I like Olds Gold !!

 

Top work... very very clean and neat!

As far as the gold...... It's a custom mixed color I've come up with....I think it mimics the era but has more life than the factory gold.....
