    Thanks boys for your advice
I don't really mind the newer tread pattern 700-18 Firestone
Just kinda love the old pie-crust versions more
I can see in my minds eye everybody silently nodding with me...

I'm bringing this thread back up, as it pertains a lot to the 7.00-18 Firestone that is no longer made.....

Well if you haven't seen my thread, Coker Tire is doing a limited run in the "old" tread pattern. Check out the link to my thread, and get a hold of me through PM or email if you're interested in joining the pre-order. We only have about 24 tires left......

These are 7.50 18 on the back. I will be getting a taller 16 for the front.
The 18's fit just fine on the wheel.

Dude - that is a serious "big 'n little" combo you have there! Cool!

Here I was concerned with running 7:00-16 tires on 4" wide '40 steelies...
I did find they only ran on 3/4 of the tread width though.

  7. Anyone have pics of a 28/29 Tudor with 18's on the rear, stock springs WITH fenders. I'm thinking of 16's in front and 17 or 18 in the rear as I want to take up some wheel well, but still retain some suspension with rear passengers. I might reverse the spring eye only or pull some leaves with the stock eye.

  8. Not a tudor, or a 28/29. but if you go look at my thread, my 31 pickup is fullfendered with a 7.50x17 with a reverse eye spring in the rear with 6 leaves and the front is a dropped 36 axle with a reverse eye. and 5.50x16's

Hey Youngrodder… where'd you find that picture?? I have been searching for a pic of that garage for a long time! :)
I seem to remember seeing one where a green(ish) tudor is sitting in front

    Can you help?

Sorry for this being off the thread topic
