History Pic request - the Original "Pinapple Princess" engine details.

    Trying to figure out the water exits on the manifold.

  2. Looks like the shorter 4-71 let him run the water out of the stock ports in the top of the heads, instead of having to drill front outlets in the heads like the the later heads have.

    This car was featured in a 1963 issue of Rod And Custom. I gave my copy away to the local owner, so I don't recall the month. There were several good photos.

    The next post link says Rod and Custom March 1963

    I thought I had many pic's of the Pineapple Princess saved.At the moment this is the only one I can find.Hope it helps.
