check the Filling Station, Bow-Tie Reproductions, I&I and check out the VCCA Chat.

  3. I helped a friend build a 29 sedan almost 30 years ago,I know now why he was able to get such a good deal on the car.

The wood kit cost twice what he paid for the car. HRP

Say it so man. The car has no wood floor at all. But I will have to find metal pans to put in instead.

It has everything including the dash and half of the sterring wheel lol.

I really wnated a Ford Model A but found this one near by and picked up for 1k so the price was not bad.

All the above suggestions for parts sources are great. I've used them all at one time or another for my 28 coupe. Just remember...it's a 4 cylinder Chevy...not a Model A. Be patient when looking for parts.

  10. Put a list together and throw a post in the "termites and bowties" thread- there are a few of us early Chevy guys that might be able to help!

Yeah I know. These are more rare I guess not too many where made. Plus the other reason I wanted to get was because I want to have a Chevy collection:D.

  14. Plenty were made- it's the the wood-frame bodies that makes them harder to find :D

  15. Congrats on getting your '28 chevy. Post some pictures when you can

Sold the car before I even did anything. I was offloading it and they offered some good cash and it was gone.

Damn shame! It woulda been a good challenge.easy enough to build a steel inner body structure.
