Old pic of my Deceptive Lark. Taken in 1968 at the famous Lions Drag Strip. 259 Stude with Wiend dual two's manifold and Stude carbs, Howards Cam, Mallory YC Dual point distributor and dual exhaust, otherwise all stock stude parts including rear axle and trans. With an automatic and set track record in gas class a few times in 1970/71.

Sorry about the sideways shot but took a page out of the scrap book and forgot to flip it before posting. The Dodge Polara in the pics was the tow car and was built from my inspiration of Norm Thatcher of Bonneville and San Fernando Raceway fame. Over 180 mph top speed recorded. Those were some good old days. My little brother made his first pass down the track at Lions in 1971 in that Lark at age 14.
