Well since I broke my arm I have some time now to catch up on some projects that are in my shop !

Jim brought his coupe to me for some metal work and frame updates !

the picture that suck in both of our brains is the John Davies coupe .

Probably going to go with a little less chop but that same nasty 60s feel will be in this car !

    Heres how she rolled in

    my favorites! brass!

then i made up this piece

    then the other side

    quarter was a saggin

    after a little welding

    then i made this up

    and the end result

now new drip rails because this car was a "rumble seat" at one time and now going back to trunk

always the last one thats a pain

    old out new in

had to make a new support for the trunk arm

    both sides in

back buttoned up . the decklid still needs a ton of fit work...imagine that ?

remade the bottom of this brace

as you can tell it needed subrails halfs . so those went in as well

also some rust repair on the actual pillar re riveted everything and away we go

cut it a little short :eek: i think it was around 100 degrees in the shop that day

    and the almost finished product

    all back to normal now

and thats all she wrote until i can work again!!
