Like all versions with the blackwalls, but with tan wheels best. Clean up the hairpins and pipes.

  2. The first pic with the small caps (looks like 47-48 Ford ) is the way to go .:D

I like the blackwalls, black wheels and '48 caps. The tan wheels would be a close second for me.

The full wheel covers have holes in the middle and fit right over the 48 caps.. The wheel has both the 48 cap and full wheel cover.. Kinda cool find at a swap meet this summer...

Just wondering how things are going. Have you decided on a look? Have you tried anything new?

You could run numerous combinations and that cool coupe will always look great.
Another vote for the BW and black rims. Staunch.

I settled on blackwalls with small caps and beauty rings.. I'll probably change to full hubcaps next summer.. The beige wheels went with the sedan I just sold and the WWW's will go on the coupe I'm building now...

Good choice. It's always fun to change things up. It's kind of like when my blonde wife dyes her hair red. I've been toying with the idea of red oxide primer and Ansens. I already have some 15x8 Ansens for the rear.....

Looks good with all the combinations shown, IMO, change it up midyear, monthly, when ever mood strikes you, its amazing how much the "look" changes with such a simple change as wheels, tires, caps, size and type. Thinking of getting another set for my coupe just to change it for the sake of change, its the biggest bang for the buck, again IMO. John

Black walls definitely. In my opinion white walls only look good on full Kustoms.

I sort of agree with you -stache, but I have these and will use them unless someone wants to trade for blackwalls...

new motor in coupe 001.JPG new motor in coupe 005.JPG Yea, I'm going to put it up for sale.. I've had this one for 4 years and I have another coupe I want to get done plus I just bought a non-hamb friendly car taking up room.. I'll probably take it to Columbus GoodGuys with a for sale sign and then put it here on the hamb.. I plan to ask 17K... I did put a new motor in it over the winter... Glad you asked....
