How much did you spend on your steering wheel?

$75 for an old metalflake wheel in really nice shape. Rootbeer color.

 

The bad news is I spent $375.00. (In 1976). The good news is the car was included.
Oh, and another $45.00 to get the horn ring replated.

 

$350 for pearl and $25 for chrome horn ring. Before and after. I have a choice of either 46 or 48 Oldsmobile script centre piece.

 

Found my Fat Man wheel at the 2009 swap meet in Kentucky.
polished it and stained it then fitted it to my 1923 Center Door "T".
Cost $175.00

 

I paid 500.00 for the car that I found this wheel in. The car had a steering wheel but this one was laying in the front seat. So I got the wheel for free. The professional restoration fee is around $1300.

 

I have a very nice 60's Chrysler steering wheel I,m never going to use.

 

$175 on Ebay. Old, red metal flake Superior 500. I never considered the cost. It's what I knew my interior needed.

Perfect match to the seat.

 

I got this wheel from my cousin for nothing, it was cracked with pieces missing, I fixed it with JB Weld and painted it, I must have two or three dollars in it It is a 50? Pontiac wheel, he gave me the entire steering column, I cut it down to fit in my 38 Chevy and modified it with info I found here on the HAMB. Life is good

 

I paid $75 for a beautiful 56 Pontiac steering wheel for my sedan delivery, plus got the rest of the four door hardtop thrown in for free!!

 

Found this one on evil bay. Supposedly was hanging on a wall in a Chevrolet dealership for many years. Not a crack in it. Paid $75. Feel like I got a bargain

 

I caught a $400 Grant wood banjo at Summit scratch and dent sale for $75. A little sanding, clear coat and it is perfect. I'm glad this came up. I'm going to take off my avatar and put it on my new build. Thanks for the reminder
