You don't see many of the 63 Fairlane wagons around. I think they are a great platform for some mild customization. Post up pics of your progress.

Love it. I remember sitting on the school steps back in the early 70's and a beat up peacock blue version of your car drove by. I said it would make a cool rod. My friends thought I was insane. Glad to see the insanity continuing...

  6. The tail gate center looks funny, it should have more ribs and dips for the rear trim, either the center was filled, or bondo'd in.

Another build of yours for me to follow. I also have a 63 wagon, a Squire. Currently working a mild custom 56 Pontiac hardtop. Similar tastes I guess lol

Learned to drive in one of those- a black w/wood trim on the sides, red interior. Started out putting it in the garage and/or backing it out for my mother after she took the side
mirror off the second time. I was 10 or 11 when I started parking that thing for Mom.

  10. If you guys need parts for the fairlane wagons, i can pm you a contact number for a couple parting one out at decent prices.

Here are some more with clear, quite a bit of flake in the silver and HOC green, should pop more in the sun. Bottom half of the car next base the 05 Mustang green with silver scallops and another lace panel on the hood, I think, its evolving!

Good luck, I'm staying tuned, as I just bought a '63 Mercury Meteor...they're siblings. Can't wait for updates.
