How can corporate America screw up sonething like the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale coverage? The Hagerty Fantasy Bid signup must have been turned over to the same asshats that designed the obamacare website. Used to be a fun event to watch. But I can't even find the channel that covers it in 2014. Bob

Agreed. They have it on at least 4 different networks that I have found. Fox, Fox Sport 1, Fox Business Network and tonight it is on the National Geographic Channel. You are right, WTF? Bring back the Speed Channel.
Even Mecum auctions are on a couple of different networks, as you said a bunch of asshats indeed.

I really don't care for the amt. of time spent on things other than the cars sold, who cares what some Twitter jockey has to say about a past sale? It's good to see that some people still have the means to buy whatever they want even at 2or3 times what it is worth. It's amusing to hear the commentors bad mouth modified cars while an original is being sold, then they are quiet when a really nice build goes for big bucks.

Once the Speed Channel went to sports, Barrett Jackson was out. The Velocity channel has Mecum, Auctions America and RM Auctions so they aren't going to piss them off and bring in Barrett. Barrett Jackson must be loosing a ton of TV money!

Every now and then you can catch a "highlights" show about an hour that shows some of the top cars/ prices. DVR it, fast forward through the commercials and you can see it all in about 42 minutes. Leaves plenty of time for hotrods, family and some beer drinking.

When I watched it I would record it. Then, I could blow past the commercials and the lame comments they'd make.

Mecum is no longer on Velocity, it is on Esquire and some other network that I don't get.

    Barret Jackson coverage
You are in CT, here is the Eastern time zone:
    Saturday:
FOX (your local FOX channel) 3:00 PM - 5:00PM
    National Geographic Channel 5:00 PM - 12:00AM

Yes, you have to flip to differant channels as you watch, 5 different channels in all....it's obsurd!! Fox Sports 2, Fox Business, Fox Sports 1, FOX, Nat. Geo.

I am doing as the others have stated. I DVR'd all of it. This morning I watched about 8 hours of coverage in less than 2 hours. A LOT of commercials to FF through.

The Speed Channel is not on anymore why? I ask Comcast about it and got no answer. Said later it was corporate:confused: Money I guess. They car less what we think or like. Anyone else out there get it? I know several that has taken there cars there Barrett Jackson and lost there ass big time. Better have very deep pockets and taking a big loss is ok.

Yeah...for some reason Speed is still on here. Have been waiting for it to disappear, but it didnt. The BJ coverage isnt what it used to be. You know its going downhill when they feel they have to parade on some clueless young lady to help announce.

Turned it on today and can't believe how high the prices are. The average rodder can't even relate to prices up to and over 400K. Saw Rick Hendricks spend over 800K for three cars. I'm done with BJ.

There's a 70 Coronet Plum Crazy convertible locally for $28k, owner passed away, 26k miles, looks nice, they say "This car sold at Barrett Jackson in 2006 for 61,000.00" R/T clone, go figure, a fool and his money are soon parted.

Fox has never been known to be an A,B. or C grade station in my book.

I figured Fox would mess up the Speed Channel, but I didn't think they would ruin it.Also hard to imagine they would backslide the BJ a coverage to the point it is worse than it ever.
