  3. Any more pictures of this car? It's similar to this one, from Wantirna, Victoria.

The article is from Custom Rodder 1967, the car has a 1956 Poly motor, deep channel no chop, cycle fenders, deuce grill shell.

Here is my car. It is a steel 33 coupe.

I tried to build it as sixties dragcar that have been converted into a streetdriven hot rod when it wasnt competative anymore. There are still details left.
It has Black leather tucknroll, SW greenline gauges

The magnesium wheels are from an old 60ties Bantam altered. Ive had the wheels for 22 years, and they were earlier on my Willys.

I havent built the car from scratch. It was an old ugly hitech car built in 1985, which I rebuilt.
It is street legal in Norway and I use it to work and as much as possible during the summer.(when I am not using my 29 roadster)

Ok, I know I have a build thread but don't want to be left out of this great thread! smile
Here's from before Christmas last year! It has come a log way and it will be very close to finished by Christmas this year. Hopefully it will be nice as this recent rendering.

    Regards,
    George

George - you have come a long way in a short time, and the coupe is looking great! Wish I could get my projects done as fast.

  14. It's amazing what you stumble across while looking for something else. I found this on a Mississippi racing history site:

Hoping to get the chop finished at the weekend. the other side is in a mess due to the car having been rolled at some time and the area around the top of the B post and window is shot, but I think we are getting there.

Hopefully I revived this thread a bit. I'd enjoy seeing some progress pics from previous posters.

This has been a great thread and most of the cars are my sort of thing.
Mine however is not what I really like but the deal was to good to pass up at the time.I bought it in California in 2008 during a visit there. If anyone has the original owners name I sure would like his contact details if possible.
