Triied searching for a thread no luck I'm thinking of a "Different bed fabricated for my 36 chev pu I was thinking something along the lines of narrowing one of these and then fabricating a contoured front panel to match the cab.

I could be wrong but I thought I heard that Dodge actually made a pick up model using the quarters of one of there wagons. And if memory serves me correctly someone just posted one up on a thread. I'll try to find it.

  3. Search Spacetruck and Ovaltine.

    Here is the Spacetruck.

Well come on don't be shy are there any more? I wish I could show You guys the model car versions that people sent Me pix of but they were on My puter that crashed, I was stoked that My truck caused such a stir, and when Plowboy asked if He could build a copy of My truck( His Spacetruck) I was jazzed, I think everyone's trucks have turned out great and I took this chance to save the pix of this post, here is a shot of Mine from the front. a local car show a couple years back.

IIRC he had to run in the unlimited class with the blower. He ended up in the top of the class, on bias plys, with a grain truck steering box (52 turns lock to lock), no necker knob.

How about a 'factory' version of the same
idea??!! Dodge used modified quarter panels
from the '57 Dodge station wagon to build
the '57 through '59 Dodge and (Canadian)
    Fargo Sweptside pickups.

dodge truck cab, 51 buick dash, 56 new yorker back half. and a 354 hemi. This year the engine is being updated with a 671 blower, and a race glide trans. It just needed to be faster.

  25. Somewhere on here was picture, maybe a photoshop, of a Black 1959 ElDorado on a COE hauler with "super size" 1959 Caddy skins for bed sides that kept me up for weeks. It's still on my bucket list.

  27. Ohhh, I couldn't find the image and figured Photobucket ate it. Any chance you could repost the image of the car on the truck in the desert?
