I would like to bring my 32 5w out for the 3rd ROG. What does it take to register and be allowed to run on the sand. My 5w is in the build thread below.

  4. Does anyone know a big wig with the ASPCA? I really need to get a "Big Cat License" in order to make my dream of reliving the days of SideCar Lions a reality....

  13. There have been about 5 potential entries for 2014. It's looking bad ass already. I'm not talking bout the five or six guys building cars from scratch either. Only 20 cars, 20 bikes. Get busy!

  16. When your cars is complete and running and ready to race it will be put in the pile to review.

We are going to announce the final entries way earlier this coming year as we do not want to deal with a last minute program fiasco.

Big things for 2014. I'm working on it everyday as of now.

A few changes this year too, all good though. Some majorly cool surprises.

Stay tuned! If I get a buzz on at Old Crow speed shop next week, I may spill some beans. Literally.

    Hey Mel,

How about a date for functional entries to be made by? I like to have a deadline.
I'm working on something new and don't have it all figured out yet but a deadline would help me to decide what I can get done in time.

    Cheers!

  21. The photographers used in last years Rodders journal magazine we are looking to contact. Adam Killion, Colleen Leslie, Thomas Rowe, Scotty Lachenauer, and Bill Senck. Tom Berg we already spoke to. Surfer's Journal wants to use an image and we need to see who owns the shot they want.

Thanks if anyone can help. I can be emailed at [email protected]

We never got a heads up on only the flat heads so it didn't work out again.
All the OHV messed every thing up. :)

I hope next year we can pair up all the flat heads and then have the top 2 flat head see how they do against the OHVs

So Mike build up that B engine and see if you can get some gas money for the ride home next year.

The fastest banger this year will be me! Sorry fellas!

  27. I'm pretty sure that the second fastest overall banger was the 38b car of Michael Goñi.
He and Mike Santiago went heads up for the final in the Banger bracket. Since he was running a flathead head (Winfield?), that would have made him at least unofficially the fastest flathead banger for 2013.

Did you race TJ on Sunday?
I know you and me didn't get to run.

Sat. TJ and I both went out 1st round against OHVs so we didn't run much Sat. but we made up for it Sunday.

Yup, raced tj on sunday. He got the jump on me on the start but reeled him in and passed him by half track.

I wish we could have ran sunday, by then my carb linkage had so much sand in it it wouldn't return and even seized one carb fully open after the finish line my last run.
