Hello. I'm not big on introductions. My name is Bryan. Single dad of two boys. Built some cars when I was younger. Born into a gearhead family spent years on a motorcycle. Had kids. Came back to cars. Two weeks ago brought home a decent shell of a 1949 Chevrolet styleline. Dad is building a 1948 Chevrolet truck. Brother a 1964 Chevrolet truck. I've made a little progress on my car on the two nights I've had to work on it. It's traditional in build with minor deviants. I think. Here's a couple pictures of the first weeks I've had it. Coming home. Found a spot. Stripped and cut. Z mocked in until I get back to it. Front suspension cut, bag mounts made. Lots of clean up and welding left. Thanks for looking. Been reading post for a while. May start a build thread when I get started a little more. Have a nice day. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Thanks for the welcoming. Butcherted, clean car. Are you using the original steering gearbox? What's it look like? Mine is missing. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I've made some progress, I created a thread on it. I need to update it again. It's under 1949 Chevrolet Styleline. Sorry I'm not savvy enough to add a link. If I figure it out I'll add one. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
