    Here is what I made for the ol ugly holley. It was a cast aluminum thickstun for a dual carb setup on a flathead. I cut the bottom out, took my hacksaw to a K&N and there you have it. Sorry to all the flathead owners out there. [​IMG]

    Kind of a barstool with a 3/8" thick finned aluminum base. Made a big "wing" nut out of a wheel center cap.

  10. me and a friend got the idea to make our own V8 air cleaners. made these at work . made a big 11" one for my single carb flatty too

    I was messing around in the shop last weekend. I had a couple of heater tube holes in the firewall and had the idea of cutting out the centers of the original Austin hubcaps to cover them. I cut one out and headed over to the car and noticed it was nearly the exact size for the butterflies. I am pretty excited about this discovery!
