Been around cars and motorcycles most of my 74 years. Had the pleasure of watching Tommy the Greek work at his Oakland shop many times. He gave me pointers on the art and to this day I still do it. Was born in Alameda California and was a part of the hot rod movement. Went to most strips on the west coast had a drag motorcycle ( BSA 40 inch dragster) and was part of a few teams of that time. Started with flatheads, had a 3/8 x 3/8 flatty with Kong ignition, Potvin 400 cam, Edelbrock heads and 3 carb manifold, Alloy flywheel. port and polish from Hubbards shop in Hayward and much more. Hung out at Millers custom and Speed in Oakland. Started racing when they started you with a flag. Would not change anything! Stayed with motorcycles but was a fan of dragracing and loved the cars. I'm just about done with a 1963 Honda 305 roadracer built here in Hawaii on the Big Island. Aloha Nui Loa Jim Wulzen
