I decided to take the day off and clean up my backyard a bit and take all of my scrap to recycling. I unloaded and recycling gave me $16.00 and I gave them $12 for the nice aluminum ladder off to the side. I was muy contento as I thought I got a good deal.

On my way home I see a model A in the back of a truck which looks like it's headed for scrap. I do an illegal u-turn and ask him to pull over and he sold me all of the old timey parts for $50.

I've always wanted a 1932 ford 5 window coupe and I have WAY too many 1940 willys parts and now I have this, I think I need serious therapy.

You're saying you bought all that for FIFTY dollars? Holy shit man, well done. Maybe you should go buy a scratch ticket today as well.

That happened to me a few years ago. It was a 8BA Flat head motor and I traded the guy my scrap load for his. Yes I still have the motor.

makes a person wonder where it came from. the scrapper may have "found" it along side the guys house who was going to build it into something.

Looks like a 31 with the round style speedometer. Not a late 31 but either a late 30 or early to mid 31.
