Is that car legal to license and drive in Germany? OR, do you have an inspection disguise it takes on when inspecion is due?

    That is one sweet Chevy.

  12. Thanks for the comments.

This is a traditional Kustom and yes, it`s street legal.

I`ve had some other Rods before, including a non-chopped '30 Model A Highboy (Gold Fink) and a 1934 All Steel 5W Coupe. Those cars were also street legal, although it was sometimes a discussion when driving without fenders...

I have to be honest, I have NEVER liked those headlights !!! But for some reason,
on your Chevy....They Look Just WORK....Chevy coupes of this era, are hard to chop and have then flow right...This coupe has hit the mark dead on !!!!!! Very Very Nice Car...

also a 38 coupe owner....neat car and pic. I don't care for the headlight treatment.......sorry

  25. Thanks for all the comments.

Car was built over 3 years by a friend here in Germany and was finished (at least more or less, as a Hot Rod/Kustom is never really finished, right?) this year.
He started with a 100% perfect & rust free all stock '38 Coupe.

Many hours & lots of work went into the `38, currently it`s bare metal with 2 layers of a special clear coat on it.

Heidts IFS, 9" Rearend on all 4 corners with Ridetech Shockwave airbags.
Interiour is completely done in an awesome dark red antique leather.,

Car is not for sale, sorry.

As we have really nice weather here in Germany at the moment, I took the chance and took the Coupe for a ride yesterday....

Very cool Kustom! Will you be in Herten fur the Kustom Kulture Show? I will be working at Bayer in Wuppertal in April or May. If I work in May hopefully I will see you at the show.

    Bad ass car!!

If I may offer one suggestion is to remove the beauty rings, think it would look a lot better.

Beauty rings on this car just doesnt look right. .02

  28. @Akbo47: Yes, I`ll be at the Kustom Kulture Show! It`s awesome, you should for sure try to join!
But there are also some other meetings during that time in Germany!

Here is our clip from our last years trip to the Kustom Kulture (I drove the `54 Buick)
