Projects My 1951 Buick Super Riviera

Hey Guys!

As this is my first post here in this forum i just wanted to introduce myself and my little preciousss i recently got myself.
Names Patrick, 26 and i stumbeled over the whole american classic car thing because of my father in law xD. Here in Austria those cars are a complete rarity and even more special than in the U.S. Therefore its quiet hard to get them
Anyway i was lucky and found my 51 Buick Super which is now my project

When i got it it was a mild custom. Unfortunately law is makin me a hard time over here so i have to remove the airride in the rear, add the lights in the back and so on .. Also the color finish was really worn of so its gettin a completely new color. (last 3 pix)

Im definitely in need of the knowledge of you guys here in the forum concerning part definitions / locations and so on...

Of course i will keep you informed about the progress of the project (if thats ok)

so far this board seems quiet cool a lot of nice cars and people that actually know what theyre talkin bout

I actually bought it in germany after the previous owner shipped it to a friend in Germany to sell the car in europe. Guess theres a much better price u can expect here. Anyway im glad to hear its rare even in the U.S
