I am hoping to learn more about these cars other than what I have found in the links below. Last sale I have found was in 1989. Does anyone know where any of these cars are or a more complete story of them? I did a search here and found no specific information.

I had the pleasure of owning one of his creations. A fordaliac. The welding that was done was a peice of art. everything looked factory. Around this same time a man from the detroit area was in the army at Redstone Arsnel in Huntsville Alabama had a Studebaker also built by Frick it to was a product with excellent workmanship.

My older brother worked for Bill Frick back in the late fifties & early sixties. His shop, now long gone, was in Rockville Center, NY which is on long Island. I hung out there quite frequently and witnessed some really wild creations in an era when everything was hand fabricated. Caddy powered Fords & Studebakers, twin Mccullogh blown Pontiac in a 56 Thunderbird, Cadillac powered Thunderbirds, Latham blown 300 series Chryslers, you name and they built it. It was a great era to be in on. There was a Ford dealer next to Frick's where Willy (Frick) would buy a new 49-50 Ford coupe, drive it 200 yards and yank out the flathead in preparation for a 49 and up OHV Caddy. He had a pile of brand new flatheads behind his shop that got scrapped, nobody wanted them! How times have changed.

I recently bought a Latham at an antique auction. On the way home I stopped by to see an "oldster" and show it to him. He began telling me of someone he thought I would know who had a Latham on his '55 Cadillac. That's all I know.

I was only familiar with the Fordillacs and his connection to Cunningham. Thanx for the extra links. Fascinating. Gary
