There has been an annual what did you buy/save for a few years now and I can't find the one for 2013. Hasn't anyone started one or am I just not seeing it? I didn't bring much home last year but did manage to save a 1960 Dodge Pioneer.

  2. I think Chris usually starts the thread. I haven't seen it this year either.

    I bought my A pickup

    bought and sold a ton of honda's. Honda's= $$$$

Bought a 1948 F1 pickup, Just about done fixing all the small stuff on that and about to put that up for sale. Then start all over again on something else that catches my eye.

  3. Just a Terraplane coach. Market's really slow, nothing's been selling.

62 chevy II. One of the first ones, made the first week of Oct 61. Of course I'm cutting it up the rest of the way, to make a race car.

Do you have a picture? I'd love to see that. I saw an Terraplane pickup once. That thing was so cool looking. Didn't have the funds to buy or the place to store. That was in Fort Huachuca AZ. Don't know if it was lost when they had the big fire there or not.

Fort Auto Parts is selling off everything, Milo died recently. I don't know about the Terraplane pickup....but in general, they don't have much stuff that's desireable. Mostly a bunch of rough old 4 door parts cars.

Good job on the truck save 'rusty1'...

  13. Finally realizing my limitations, I stuck by my guns and didn't buy/save anything in 2013, I actually sold or gave away 2 cars and 2 trucks. Trying to whittle it down to a manageable number of projects.

Like 56don, my resolution for the past couple of years was downsize. I'm trying to get rid of the stuff I'm not gonna have time to build/use.

I'm doing a pretty good job--------------sorta. This 47 Knuck did find a way to sneak in last year.

Scored a ton of parts this year for my Austin Gasser Project. I got my 454 back and installed and found a killer set of Cragers on Ebay and got the Hooziers mounted. Hoping to be at the HAMB Drags with it this year?!

as for 2014... not much to do other than get a heater system working, replace the crappy 80s cassette player with a stock 50 AM radio, get rid of the square mirrors, and repaint the steering wheel.

Didn't buy or save an cars/pickups but I did focus on one project - got two gearboxes ex Kansas and a 318 Poly engine from Texas w 4 barrel to keep the project rolling. The gearbox's were destined to the wreckers yard and the engine was heading for the scrap metal merchant so I was happy on two fronts - 1st off I saved them from extinction and then I got some desirable parts to keep the build process under way

Yea, the first bike I ever owned back in 1969 was a 47 Knuck. And this one is gonna cost about the same as that one -------- every cent I can scrape up.

  29. Bought 2 late 60's Broncos and sold one diff for more than I paid for the pair. Bought the contents of a Ford dealerships attic and tripled my investment in 2 weeks. Still have a ton of parts to sell but the best is gone....

  30. didn't sell anything big- sold some small stuff....picked up some small
stuff to sell and picked up a wagon or two....56 Chysler and 65 Dodge...
