I've been reading articles on JalopyJournal and visiting and lurking on the HAMB for quite some time now. I guess it is time to do an intro. My wife and I have a dozen or so cars, several of are HAMB worthy. We've been out to the Paso Robles show and to the local Good Guys and Pueblo's Street rod nats. The current stable that meets the spec here includes: Mine, 53 Morris Minor Tourer with 59 Sprite engine with dual carbs, Austin Healy wheels with wide whites 59 Triumph TR-3A, fully restored running wide whites 61 Corvette, factory dual 4 automatic car with power windows We've driven both these cars on long cross country trips 63 Skylark, my current daily driver and winter car. Hers, 54 Buick Super Riviera 62 Buick Special Deluxe Conv. 64 Riviera, 425 w 2 x 4, project car. Scott in Colorado
Greetings Scott, from the other side of the mountain.Sounds like a cool stable of cars.I have a couple of the same similar tastes.
Here are a couple of shots of the '63 Skylark. I use it as my winter driver, since it isn't a convertible, and the 215 gives off a lot of heat fast! Scott
The TR-3 just after I restored it. The lady sitting in the car is the original owner of the car, bought it brand new in LA in 1960. Behind it is my not so HAMB '70 Chevelle.
