For Christmas my wife got to come home from the Hospital to be with our daughter. I would be lost without my wife. When she back to walking I am going to take her shopping to get her whatever she wants. 53 years with the love of my life.

I've threatened to move north, the cold weather is bad enough for us here... Dying to work. What we refuse to do is live on the dole. Things are looking up, I have some good looking prospects here and in Tampa and Los Angeles. Right now it's all about playing their corporate games (everything seems to be on a schedule).

I bought myself a HAMB calendar and two stickers. Now that Christmas Day is over I will by myself some stuff for my 33 ford pickup with my Christmas bonus. Had to take care of the family first. But I did sneak in that calendar!

Just a plain old stocking stuffer did the trick for me. It was exactly what I wanted. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1388081219.714217.jpg

I bought myself a '59 Olds rear end, 4.10 gears and 31 splined axles, narrowed housing to fit a tri-five chevy and best of all the axles have been redrilled for chevy pattern, all it needs in spool and the old RUG RAT C/A is closer to making a pass!!

I got to take my wife and two sons to my moms (92 years old) house for half a day before the youngest had to go to work. Sometimes its the small things in life.

got 2 of these, they originally were hung up in the dealer showroom in 1949. they are 25" X 40". I also have a 1949 woodie and a styline special sport coupe in the same size, there is 7 or 8 all together, I have 4.

Got some gift certificates I'll be spending on new tools at Canadian Tire. Perhaps the real gift was my son standing beside our "new" oven when it decided to short out. He pulled it out and got it unplugged before it burned the house down. Apparently new stoves don't have that row of fuses in the back anymore and you can do a lot of welding on a 40 amp breaker. Would have overcooked the turkey too! Reading all the medical issues, unemployment etc. going on this Christmas, and the thousands in Eastern Canada out of power with the ice storm, I just feel very, very fortunate to be here in good health and in one piece.
