I have a 49 f1 that I've had for about 7 years and finally going to build it. I'm 17 so this is mainly learning experience. Fellow HAMBer Dirty Dave is helping and letting me put the cab in his garage for rust repair and metal work. It's going to have a flathead 6 and 4 speed. Will have a few leafs removed to lower ride height. I will be driving it almost everyday so converting to 12 volt.
Glad to see that you have a mentor, good luck on the truck, haven't ridden in one of those since the 50's!

Truck has brakes and runs good. Slowly coming together put front clip back on and this is a pic of it sitting at the ford show at maryland international raceway. No glass and gas can in bed gotta do what you gotta do.
