I work with a guy that trades all the time,not to say he is always a good trader, he just trades.
Mainly cars and trucks he depends on to drive to work and back etc. everyday.
He will make 2 or 3 good trades up and have something pretty good and get the big head and think he is some kind of big time car dealer then he will turn around and trade for peices of crap until he is nearly walking

He always comes back up but only after taking money out of his pocket.
Trading is what makes him happy and he has done it for years but you could say trading can be almost like a gambling addiction and a traders money, like a gamblers money has no home.

Trading is king! I started with a '98 HD Fatboy last summer, and after 5 flips had enough dough to build a 1800 sq. foot addition to my 1300 sq. foot shop. The only problem is now I only have one hot rod to put in it! Nice work Marty!

 

I had a '69 nova I built, fresh car with no break in miles, traded it and some dough from a Harley I flipped on my glass deuce, then I flipped that this spring and bought my steel five window. Added in a sale here or there in that chain but mostly trading whether cars or parts to get to my current dream car. It's the only way I can support my hobby as I don't bring home big bank plus it's fun.
