So this story starts out this past summer when I bought an 82 Yamaha. Xs650 to build a chopper outta. I hard tailed it, and that's about when I got bored. Fast foreword to a month ago, and a 56 olds 88 with a 394 swap came up for sale. I offered that 82 and the swap was made. Olds wasn't bad. Spent like $100 on wheel cylinders and rear shoes. Pulled the motor and swapped in a 305 and turbo 350 that had been laying out in the weather for the past few years. (Did get the motor fired though!) threw on some 14 inch chromies and shaved the rear handles. Needed lots of work left to drive.

So I get an email from a guy I had done some business with in the past, and he wants my olds. I was gonna flip the damn thing anyway so I said shoot me an offer. He said how about my 31 model a pickup. Lots of talking and swapping pics and I came home with this little truck yesterday, plus a shit ton of parts.

This all started off with an 1982 jap crap bike. If I was you I'd keep trading. No telling what you could get for that Ford truck!

Kind of off topic, I traded a 440 victor motor for a wood chipper, and traded that for a nice Cat forklift with new batteries...

Yup, I think you DO "win".

Helluva trader I'd say. Love the truck and love that you'll keep the fenders and the four banger. Cool little driver. I'd keep it permanently, but that's just me I suppose.
