Don't know how wide it is but what about the grille/bumper combo of a 56 Cadillac

  3. I'm pretty set on a one piece '58 Chevy car bumper up front a knob grille and '58 Chevy rear taillight bezels for turn signals on the grille. If some one can Photoshop it, I would greatly appreciate it :D

IMO, it's really a tough decision because Chevy really nailed it good, rough or chrome

Heres what I have decided on, just not sure chrome/brushed steel/ powdercoated. A few more examples for inspiration.:D

  14. It's mine, bro. I just put that on the back burner for now. Actually I just picked up the 283 from the machine shop last week. I'm gonna paint it and have my dad put it together before we store it away. I'll get in that after the truck is done.

  15. Good looking trucks, I love the grey truck with the Plymouth grille.

Shit didn't know you had that roadster! Yeah that 55-56 Plymouth grill looks good on that truck

I think the grill is out of a Plymouth valiant, not sure what year. In fact, I believe one of the rat rod magazines this month or last, had a ford ranchero with this same grill. I believe he cut out the turn signals from the Apache grill and mounted them from the top. The center bar I believe is from a 55 Buick. He later painted this truck purple. (not the best color, my opinion.)

I am also sending a pic of what a buddy of mine did with his 57 GMC.

Last pic, this is what a local shop here is doing to a 60-66 apache. I know it is not your model, but thought it was still pretty bad ass!!!

  18. I actually dig the purple, and those other trucks look awesome too! I love the '50 Buick grille. I'm pretty set on what I'm gonna do to the pick up but the front end is where I'm on the fence still.

  19. That ranchero is pretty slick, and I want to do a color scheme more or less in that Watson style. Based of a candy orange and maybe some flake.

I agree that ranchero was off the hook. (pic 1) I am going with a suede color myself, (pic 2) like this guy did, but all my bumpers and trim will be painted like the green trucks. (pic 3) In fact, I may go with a metal flake roof with the old 60's style of lace overlay.:cool:

I had a '58 Belair and still have a few of these bezels for a future application.

^^I considered that and even picked up the taillights... Same day I grabbed them at the swap meet I saw a truck at a carshow in my town that already had them. Decided to pass
