Our '47 Fleetline Sportmaster Sedan, taken last year. Car had 89K when purchased in 2010, and was mechanically gone through in 2011 and now has 93K on the clock. 3-owner car but sat from 1974-2010 and after some great advice here on the HAMB we've got it running and looking as good as possible...and that's good enough for us. I still get asked "when are you going to restore it", but the people that ask that are the kinda folks that just don't get it.

Repainted in the '70's, ( before I got it ) dull original chrome.
I did a motor transplant, had seat recovered, rebuilt brakes, new wiring and new windshield.

One bedside repainted and seat cover and floor mat replaced! Other than that she is original! No rust or patch panels ever! Love it

1934 Chevy Town Sedan. Pretty much untouched with 38,000 miles. She's had a good life.

It has had a great life originally from Oklahoma, it has been maintained well thru the years, with the occasional touch up but never had a full restoration of any kind! Just a super clean old truck!

  13. I was walking around the Mecum auction in Kissimmee last year and I spied a 55 safari barn find . The more beer I drank , the more I wanted it ! Next thing I know i`m on stage and my buddy was bidding on it for me.Needed a lot of work to get it roadworthy , but in July I drove it to the Syracuse Nats. It`s original , except for us lowering it and being painted 20 + years ago and thats the way it is staying.(we did wash it though )

  18. Here is my 35 Tudor. All original except the previous owner had her repainted. Found it sitting in a garage as the owner passed away about 7 years earlier. Replaced fuel tank, exhaust, intake (had several cracks at Gen. Bolt), fuel gauge, fuel pump, and changes all fluids. She runs great at 74k original miles.
