Did a little bit of work on the 54.
cut out the floor pans and I tacked in the rear pan out of 16 gauge.

Found a broken body mount under the front floor board

put in some bump stops so I wont slam down on the rockers if I lose air

I need to find some new bags for the rear (it has firestone bags for mock up only) I found out I can't take the rear tires off with out unbolting the bags any one have advice on some good bags the will give me more lift?

Went to u pull it on sunday and they had a 54 lincoln so I pulled this off the rear bumper, I think I'm gonna narrow it and flip it and put bolt to the bumper, but I'm not sure yet.

Holy C notches batman! - Can i ask why the notch is so big???? "No Plan" and I are currently 2 linking my 54 so it'll lay the frame with 2600lb bags & the notch we are doing isn't near that big - (although it still isn't done, so maybe it will be lol)

Looking good though! - Subscribing! - Love the pics!

I was gonna suggest some Slam Specialties bags. If you got the ss series, i think they have 1" extra stroke over the RE bags. Looking good so far!

It has been a while since I updated so here goes.
front floor pan is almost done but I ran out of gas on a sunday
    [IMG]

started tacking in the new trunk

got the drive line in (thanks to hamber JeffB2 for giving me the part number for the u joint). I thought I was going to have to cut up the transmission tunnel but it was only a 1/8" difference between aired out and where the drive line hit so I just moved my bump stops to save a ton of work.

The radio face is going to be where my switches are for the airbags so I rigged it up so I can put shift indicator in the lens.

I tore apart a old stereo for the gears and sliders and hooked it with some heavy duty fishing line, spring, some wire and I stole the break cable housing off of my bmx bike. I have a guy at work using the lazer to etch me a new piece of plex with p n r (d) d 1. it is more impressing in person

Kool, I spent a lot of miles in the back seat of a 52 Ford when I was about 10 years old. I'm thinking about trying to deal my buddy out of one he came up with now to stick my flathead in and drive.

It has been a long while since I have updated, I have got a lot done; trunk is finished, floor boards are 98% done air lines ran tanked half wired, and we fired the engine up for the first time 2 weeks ago! then last weekend I drove it down the road and back for the first time!.
Next weekend I have to install a new break light switch and start on the front shock mounts then it will be on the road! still ugly and a ton to do but I just want to be able to drive it when I feel like it.
